We recently spent our Mini moon at Holly Farm where we stayed in the Yurt , it was so lovely to find somewhere to stay which was so peaceful and calm especially after all the stress of wedding planning.

Holly farm has everything you need , the cooking station in the barn has BBQ ,hot plate , toaster fridge ,freezer, tea coffee kettle, cooking utensils and plates etc no need to take your own apart from food and drink .

The yurt is very comfortable and cosy it has a log burner for when it gets nippy! and romantic fairy lights, deck chairs and table out the front to enjoy your breakfast and meals.

The toilet and shower facilities are spotless and you would never realise it was a compost toilet because it doesn't smell at all

We were lucky enough to have a sneak peak inside BIG RED which looked very cosy and comfortable to and apparently you can have the doors fully open when it rains and the rain never comes in!

Tracy Jason and of course Ozzy the Dog are most welcoming and helpful always on hand to give advice and knowledge of where to visit and eat locally.

We cant wait to go back Next time we fancy trying Big Red

We stayed in the Mongolian Yurt, it was sooo cool and relaxing loved the wood burning stove and the farm it was on was brill with trampoline included!
So dog friendly which was great for our Greyhound because she liked to mooch round with the resident Oz dog.
Glamping facilities are brilliant, great barn house with kitchen, haybales and various bits and bobs to keep you amused.
The farm is great with the piggies and chickens and we spend most of our stay chilling out on the farm. Solar lights to light your way to the loo! nice touch
Jason and Tracy were great and very welcoming we will definitely be coming back..... loved it :) Del and kim

We had a great bank holiday staying in the Mongolian Yurt! Very relaxing and cosy! Got the log burning stove working when it got a little nippy at night! Would definitely recommend and visit again! There is everything you need for a great glamping experience and an amazing view of the stars on a clear night! You were made to feel very welcome from the minute we arrived. Lovely area : )

I was looking for a special place for my husband's 50th birthday. He loves camping, but I wanted something a little easier. It had to be dog friendly, not too expensive, not crowded or commercial, in the countryside, quiet....with the ability to chill champagne and do a bit of cooking! Finally found Holly Farm and what a find it was. We stayed in the super comfy, private, unbelievably spacious yurt. Loved it! The open sided barn had everything we needed for storing and cooking food. The shower room was new, super clean, spacious....totally unlike any shower room you'll find on a campsite! The compost loo was easy to use and odourless. Jason and Tracy were helpful and friendly and recommended the Tytherleigh Arms for dinner: a short ten minute drive away. (Great food...save room for dessert!). Ozzie is gentle and got along great with our active terrier. Perfect place for a long weekend. Would be fun to come back with friends or family; the small size of Holly Farm means you can easily have the place to yourselves. Last but not least: the stars!! Almost no light pollution.

We just had a great bank holiday staying in the Mongolian Yurt! Very relaxing and cosy! Got the log burning stove working when it got a little nippy at night! Would definitely recommend and visit again! There is everything you need for a great glamping experience and an amazing view of the stars on a clear night!
